You will work closely with designated Project Managers as part of a cross-functional project team. Description

  • Working with multiple team to develop and maintain proposal and execution budgets and track variance to budget
  • Communicating cost and/or scheduling trends with key stakeholders
  • Building relationships across functions; being a finance focal for Programme Manager and providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to their programmes
  • Developing and performing general analysis of schedules/resource forecasts and/or estimates at completion with margin improvement plans
  • Extracting data and compiling routine performance reports and assisting with preparing variance analyses
  • Reconciling data from multiple sources and performing general support of financial statements forecasts
  • Full cycle project accounting support for assigned projects from proposal development, implementation and execution through to contract closure
  • Assisting in developing strategic plans (financial planning) and business cases using appropriate indices
  • Making recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Supporting functional cost reduction initiatives across the business

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a background in business, finance, scheduling, project accounting, economics or project coordination/management
  • Experience with cost analysis and reporting, basic scheduling techniques and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is preferred
  • Advanced data management and Excel skills is essential
  • You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
