My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Management Accountant with month-end and transactional responsibilities.

Description

Accounts Payable

Daily

  • Suppliers invoices
  • Post invoices in Nav
  • Set up payments in HSBC net

Accounts Receivable

Daily

  • Sales invoices
  • Post invoices in Nav (wholesale, retail shop, eCommerce, Amazon, Bzar)
  • Upload to HSBC IF
  • Upload to supplier site
  • Email / send invoices to customers
  • Response to HSBC IF messages
  • Post and allocate customer payments in Nav

Others

Daily

  • Sort out posts
  • Response to accounts' emails

Weekly

  • UK sales tracker

Month-end

  • Magento refunds, chargeback
  • Magento payments allocation
  • Post petty cash transactions in Nav
  • Post company credit card transactions and reconciliation in Nav
  • Post staff expense claims in Nav and pay staff expense claims
  • Post HSBC IF charges
  • Customer Item Sales report - Sales and GP margin analysis
  • Analyse Seko UK and HK warehouse costs
  • Monthly Business Survey - Retail Sales Index

Others

  • Ad hoc assignment

Profile

Candidate skills

  • Working knowledge of Navision
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Accounting experience within a retail organisation
  • AP & AR experience
