Reporting to the ECommerce Manager, the Ecommerce Business Analyst will work closely with business teams across the company to understand and document requirements associated with significant business problems and opportunities.

You will be heavily involved in scoping out new developments across all Ecommerce channels. You will look at existing processes within the company and analyse what and how we can automate these using in–house or external software development. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to manage their requirements and product backlogs, facilitating meetings and workshops to help in the seamless translation of information from non technical stakeholders to our highly skilled Developers. In addition, the role will require ability to work with the business functions and translate them into functional specification for back end development teams and UX.

The BA will be responsible for creating acceptance criteria, managing backlog items through from creation to completion and will have complete ownership of maintaining the ECommerce backlog within an Agile development environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain fantastic working relationships with 3rd party suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
You will have previous experience of collecting and documenting complex business processes, both 'As is' and 'To be', and have knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

You will be a pro–active self–starter who will use their initiative to solve problems and evolve internal processes and have the ability to motivate and encourage collaboration amongst Project Team members. Experience in managing business change and an understanding of the full project lifecycle, It would be advantageous to have experience of using software to manage backlog items such as user stories and bugs as well as managing business change.
