Churchill Howard are working in partnership with a highly successful business based in the East of Birmingham to recruit an Accountant. The successful Accountant can come from an industry or a practice background and will take responsibility for upgrading the reporting of the business as well as providing technical assistance across the wider group.

The company operates in a busy, fast moving and demanding environment. This is a fantastic role where achievement will be recognised.

Accountant responsibilities –

* Control of three reporting accounts
* Monthly management accounts
* Statutory reporting (FRS102) and audit process
* Cash flow forecasting
* Bank reporting
* Ad hoc reporting
* Payroll
* Responsible for two members of staff
* Reporting to CFO but expected to be able to work autonomously

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and will demonstrate fantastic communication skills. They will show a genuine interest in the industry and will demonstrate a willingness to participate when forming key business strategy. You will be hands on, take ownership of problems and be deadline driven.
