Management Accountant

The main remit of this Management Accountant role in Blackburn is to work closely with the Financial Controller to produce accurate and timely management accounts with insightful analysis / commentary.

You will be an integral part of the business to improve processes and push the business forward, as it enters its next stage of growth.

Description

The main remit of this Management Accountant role in Blackburn is to:

• Prepare and deliver management accounts, including the production of P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide monthly variance analysis reporting and commentary
• Preparation of monthly board packs
• Work closely with the financial controller to push the business forward
• To work with non finance staff to support operations
• To analyse the accounts and advise on how to move forward
• Contract accounting and variance analysis

Profile

The successful candidate for this Management Accountant role will be:

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• A driven, ambitious, astute Management Accountant
• Able to act on imitative, and think commercially
• A confident communicator, able to work with finance and non finance stakeholders
• Ideally have some contract accounting experience
• Ideally have a background of working in finance positions in the construction / manufacturing sector

Job Offer

This fantastic Blackburn based business can offer the chosen candidate a salary of £36,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience.
