On behalf of a business based just outside of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent FP&A Analyst to join their expanding commercial finance team.

My client are a market leader with many well known house hold products.

Description

Working in the FP&A team, your role will be to support the wider business with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for a range of projects.

Duties include:

  • Production of headcount and cost reports and forecasts, highlighting trends and analysing of variances, presentation of results to headcount and cost budget holders
  • Partnership with finance operations team overseas to enhance the quality of data in the cost reports and build their understanding of FP&A processes
  • Support the production of the 4 year plan, Annual Budget and Quarterly Rolling forecasts covering P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow planning
  • Support the Return on Investment reporting and analysis framework to evaluate the effectiveness of Marketing and IT expenditure
  • Support the preparation of the investor relations content including the bi-annual city results, Annual Report content and ad hoc investor queries and analysis
  • Assisting on project analysis and production of business cases and other commercial analysis Build relationships across the organisation, building the link in to the finance function through effective business partnering
  • Work with the FP&A and Finance Transformation team to gather requirements for the design of new planning models in Hyperion Planning and assist with testing

Profile

The successful candidate for Permanent FP&A Analystrole will need to have the follow skills:

  • You should be actively studying for your CIMA or ACCA qualification, ideally mid way through.
  • You must have a good grounding in accounting fundamentals (month end balance sheet, journals, accruals etc) and be keen to move to a more Commercial Analysis role or be currently in a Financial Analysis role.
  • University degree - ideally a 1st or 2.1 in a relevant subject (Maths, Economics, Accounting, Finance)
