You will be required to provide a Quality Assurance service within the Property Services Team, ensuring that we are meeting defined objectives and outputs and providing excellent services to our customers.

Description

  • Contributes and links the strategic vision and values to everyday work

  • Act as a change agent within the organisation, questioning current practices and ways of working and always seeking to improve our service offer.

  • Fully involve staff and customers in reviewing our current service offer and ensure that any change to service provision is managed and communicated effectively to both staff and residents.

  • Review and develop cost effective options for change for Property information technology systems to improve productivity, increase operational capacity, improve the way systems hold data on our homes to satisfy our regulatory and compliance requirements, and understand value for money.

  • Be able to develop innovative and cost effective solutions to challenges within property.

  • Act as the quality assurance person within the property services team, completing performance management audits and ensuring that the directorate is meeting its KPI's.

  • Carry out service reviews as directed by the Head of Asset Strategy and Compliance.

  • Oversee the completion and monitor the operational risk registers, ensuring these are up to date and relevant

  • Produce clear written Board and ELT reports as directed by the Head of Asset Strategy and Compliance.

  • Act as a critical friend to the property services team ensure that there is appropriate challenge where we are developing or reviewing services.

  • Manage one off projects as directed by the Head of Asset Strategy and Compliance ensuring that project management is carried out in line with the organisations portfolio and project management process, and projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet project requirements.

  • Build effective and productive relationships with internal support services, through excellent communication and engagement
    • Ensure the Property Services Team has effective lines of communications and that it has a joined up approach in management and provision of services.

    Profile

    • Experience of completing audits within a complex environment

    • Experience of identifying, developing and managing productive stakeholder relationships

    • Demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity

    • Ability to handle competing priorities and a challenging workload in a complex environment

    • Financial and budgetary experience

    • Experience of writing complex reports

    • Experience of managing risk and developing risk registers

    • Experience of reviewing and undertaking change projects to information technology systems

    • Experience of implementing new information technology systems.

    • Experience of meeting stretching targets and bringing projects in on time and on budget.

    • Graduate, or equivalent by experience

    • Evidence of continuing professional development
