My client is PE backed and achieving growth by acquisition. They have doubled in profitability over the last two years and as a result have re-structured finance to accommodate the growth.

Description

This role will act as a solid no.2 to the Finance Director, focusing on Group Accounting for several entities across the UK. You will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a team consisting of differing ability levels. This role will be at the forefront in ensuring all financial controls and governance are in place to ensure the effective running of the finance function. You will be required to work at a fast pace and be able to effectively advise and liaise with senior stakeholders around future business acquisitions.

Profile

In order to apply for this role, please ensure you meet the criteria below:

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Ideally would be from a practice background
• Experience in Group and Acquisition Accounting
• Proven experience of successfully leading, developing and managing a team
• Strong communication and systems skills
• Experience operating in a fast paced, PE backed environment
