Financial Accountant (Hospitality)

ABOUT THE ROLE: Preparation and posting of accounting journals, including accruals & prepayments Responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements including active involvement in both audit preparation and delivery Dealing directly with external auditors and senior stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the financial statements Completion of routine monthly and quarterly management accounts Liaising with the tax advisors and others in relation to VAT and corporation tax compliance requirements Contribution to process improvements within the accounting team and wider office environment. ABOUT THE PERSON: Recently Qualified Accountant with some PQE in industry being an advantage We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication and organisational skills The ideal person will demonstrate accounting and analysis experience, preferably in a retail, food & beverage or similar fast pasted business environment Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
