Financial Accountant

Working in a small central accounting team you will be responsible for the timely and accuracte production of Statutory and Management accounts

Client Details

High profile Charity with a national footprint and HQ based in Derby

Description

Production of Statutory Accounts - 6 legal entities, 1 Consolidation, 2 Charities, 1HA and 3 trading entities.

VAT, Gift Aid, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NIC

Balance Sheet Controls

Financial Control framework including policies and procedures; ensuring all process are documented and understood with controls maintained

Operational Support / Internal Audit

All external data provision eg CQC, Banks, Office of National Statistics

Knowledge and experience accounting for restricted reserves and Service Charges

Key contact for external advisors of statutory audits and tax advice

External audit planning and the management of Auditor deliverables

Point of for Financial Accounting matters

Continuous improvement of the fixed asset process and maintenance of the fixed asset register

Profile

Qualified or QBE accountant with strong financial accounting skills and an eye for detail
