Description
This Commercial Management Accountant is required to join a busy Science & Research organisation to provide flexible, proactive and timely financial support, analysis and assistance to budget holders in scientific operations and IT platform.
With strong interpersonal skills and attention to details the successful person will support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager by in making key decisions, preparing forecasts and budgets and financial reports as well as analysis of expenditure against budgets for the relevant areas across the organisation.
Balancing the varied requirements of organising, prioritising and completing multiple tasks and managing multiple stakeholders is essential for this role.
Profile
Commercial Management Accountant duties and responsibilities;
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Ability to work in a medium sized and complex organisation
- Coordinating and providing deliverables to tight time frames with multiple information providers
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, creative thinking and problem solving
- Attention to detail, focus on getting the basic financials right first time
- Strong interpersonal skills, team working and focus on delivering benefits for internal customers
- Be comfortable challenging; and being challenged
- Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
