Temporary Accountant - Renewable Energy Developer/Operator

Opportunity to gain end-to-end accounting experience Work closely with commercial teams in a fast-growing sector Collegial, small-team work environment One of Ireland's leading renewable energy developers is looking for a skilled accountant on a temporary basis to assist with the production of accounts and administering the financial control process across c.10 entities.  With a global fleet of operational power plants, this company is active in the EU, UK, and North American energy markets. This is an ideal position for an energetic, adaptable part-qualified or recently-qualified accountant who is looking build end-to-end accounting experience in a sector which has seen substantial growth globally.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director, Managing Director, and Project Developers and gain deep insight into the daily operations of the fleet while maintaining high standard of financial controls. You will: Lead the production of monthly management accounts, cash flows, and annual trial balances, Work closely with auditors on revaluations, composition of group consolidated accounts Manage all financial aspects of the ~10 entities comprising the operating portfolio Cash management and reconciliation Facilitate tax filings for all entities The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate: Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting Minimum part-qualified in professional accounting qualification Third-level degree Strong team player, works well under pressure Interested?
