Part Qualified Accountant / Accounts Technician

Part Qualified Accountant Our clients, a City Centre based government body, are looking recruit a Part-Qualified accountant to join their Finance team on a 1 year contract. The role would suit a part qualified accountant with 4 years' experience preparing Management Accounts to Trail Balance stage. More specifically the individual will be responsible for the following tasks: Review of daily pre-posting reports and posting of purchases daybook Preparation of all Bank Account reconciliations Preparation of Monthly Payroll Journals Completing Monthly End close procedures Finalising Prepayment and Accruals listings for Month End Accounts Preparation and posting of Monthly Income Journals Updating and Finalising the Fixed Asset Register on monthly basis Preparing expenditure analysis as part of Month end process Presenting a draft set of Management Accounts for review Provide cover for other members of the Finance team Other ad-hoc duties on the finance team The individual will work closely with colleagues within the Finance Unit and throughout the organisation. They should have 3-4 year experience, and be an Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant. Full training and support will be provided. The individual should be a quick learner and be able to bring their previous experience to the role. The individual should be able to work under minimum supervision.
