This is an opportunity to use your M&A skills within the dynamic healthcare sector and a private equity setting. We are seeking a corporate finance / M&A professional in a contract role for 9 months during maternity leave for the current M&A Director. You will become an integral part of the senior management team and deliver on M&A projects. The start date of the role is April 2018, although for the right candidate this date can be negotiated.
Role: As the M&A Director you will work across all aspects of the M&A deal cycle. You will take primary lead on execution of each new hospital acquisition. This will entail project management of the entire acquisition process including investment analysis, term sheet negotiation, due diligence, legal documentation and deal completion. The role is diverse and also provides opportunities for involvement in multiple greenfield and commercial projects across the Nexus Group. You will report to the company CEO.
Requirements: You will have proven M&A deal execution skills and be comfortable with overseeing legal transaction documentation. You will be comfortable working as part of a small team where you will be required to work autonomously. You will display a genuine passion for working in an investing environment and will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experience in the rapidly evolving healthcare sector, in a PE backed company. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with highly experienced and credentialed leaders in the private equity and healthcare industries.
Successful applicants will have gained 7-10 years' experience in a transactional corporate finance role in either a private equity firm, investment bank, corporate advisory firm or M&A advisory division of a top tier accounting firm. Specific healthcare industry expertise is desirable, but not a requirement.
You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
To apply please send your CV and a cover letter to enquiries@nexushospitals.com.au.
