Finance Manager

You will work alongside the Finance Director in the management of the finance function of the organisation and reporting for 5 owner managed businesses all operating within the property sector.You will manage 4 direct reports and responsible for their development alongside your other management obligations.

A fast-growing property management consultancy based in the heart of the West-End, focusing on regeneration within some of the most challenging construction projects in central London. The organisation is currently working on over 400 live and diverse projects which vary in scope from small complex consultations to some of the largest and iconic building projects in London

Description

• The day to day management of the finance team
• Presentation of financial information at Board meetings and responsibility for reporting to senior staff
• The monthly and quarterly management accounts
• The quarterly forecast updates
• Managing the activity and progress of the finance team
• The overall management of VAT reporting
• Managing the audit process
• Assisting with the production of statutory accounts

Profile

• Ideally looking for someone with a small/mid tier practice background
• Strong Management accounting, cash flow and budgeting experience
• Ideally someone with experience in the service sector i.e. LLPs or consultancies
• Exposure to limited companies and/or owner managed businesses
• Experience with SAGE 50 is preferable
• Experience with VAT reporting is preferable
• High level Excel skills are essential, particularly experience with Pivot Tables
• Experience in the property industry is preferable but not essential
• Experience in a professional services firm is essential
