Client Details

Our client is an international logistics organisation with contracted sites based across the UK. This position will be located South of Derby, whereby you will be looking after a contract worth c.£60m. This particular site has a fairly small Accounts and Audit Team, which will encourage your autonomy and ability to influence within the role.

Description

Your duties and responsibilities within this position shall include:

  • To ensure the accuracy of billing to customers, alongside attaining timely payments and minimising period of credit;
  • To monitor and evaluate KPIs to maintain high standards and strive to continually improve processes;
  • To support with month end reporting and reconciliations for monthly accounts;
  • To ensure all internal and customer policies and procedures are adhered to in order to comply with audits;
  • To ensure full and accurate monthly spend validation;
  • Supervision of team of 4 assistants who would handle the purchase side receivable areas reconciliation for P&L.

Profile

The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in a previous role, alongside a strong knowledge of accounts. You will want to take on a new challenge and be an eager learner. You will have confident communication skills and have a positive can-do attitude. It is desirable that you have previous experience in logistics or freight.

Job Offer

Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £26,000, a 10% bonus, private medical, pension and a staff benefits package. There is also study support for this position for those working towards CIMA and ACCA.
