Interim Systems Accountant

An excellent opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant to lead on the implementation of MS Navision at this leading Not for Profit organisation in Harlow. You will be required to design a new MS Navision specific Chart of Accounts and help work with the team to improve the quality of the reports produced.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing the existing SAGE Chart of Accounts
• Designing new MS Navision specific Chart of Accounts
• Assist with the post-implementation work of MS Navision
• Help work with the team to improve the quality of the reports produced
• Train up fellow staff members on how to use and make the most of MS Navision
• Ensure procedures are properly documented so they can be picked up by others coming into the business

Profile

A successful candidate will have the following traits:

• A relevant Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equiv.)
• An all round understanding of day-to-day accounting - management and financial accounting.
• A strong working understanding of systems implementation and demonstrable understanding of MS Navision and Sage, as shown through experience.
• The interpersonal skills to be able to effectively train others on using the software
