Accountant Apprenticeship// Assistant Accountant

This position will be located primarily at Porsche Centre Tonbridge (“PCT”)

Key Tasks: This apprenticeship encompasses a 3-year development plan. By the end of 3 years, the apprentice should be in a position to step into a dealership accounting role should one be available. Some of the key tasks include:
• Action/Manage/Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all weekly/monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reporting requirements for PCT. This includes bank reconciliations, cash-flow analysis, monthly KPI’s;
• Financial support including cover accounts, sales and debtor reconciliations/ credit collection as required; 
• Key insights shared proactively including recommended improvements to stakeholders such as the FD, DP, wider Dealership team;
• Manage the appropriate Dealership processes and controls to ensure compliance with LIND agreed processes, GAAP, legal, professional obligations;
• Group Projects as requested by FD/ MD

Ideal attributes:
• Excellent grades
• Excellent communication skills
• Accurate and attention to detail
• Excel – Intermediate or Advanced
• Automotive industry and/or multi-site retail experience
• Successful progress towards an AAT, CIMA or ACA or equivalent qualification
• Experience with Kerridge and/or Pyramid would be beneficial
