As Finance Manager for my global logistics client, you will control and report revenue and cost on-site as well as support senior management with commercial decisions.

Description
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Prepare and maintain financial accounts in the computerised accounting system
- Provide reports both for internal and external use for multiple sites and multiple customers
- Cost trend analysis and identification of cost reduction opportunities to assist operational decisions
- Work in collaboration with other sites to maximise efficiencies and ensure best practice
- To support the GMs and Commercial Manager with tender responses and provide commercial data
- Ensure adequate controls and processes are in place in order to satisfy both internal and external audit requirements
- Assist the General Managers in the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts and other ad-hoc project work
- Support the delivery of accurate, complete and timely charging analysis to the customer as well as customer query resolution
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly KPI information
- Provide customers with detailed trip information including year on year analysis by route and channel type
Profile
Desired skills and experience in this role will include:
- Previous experience at Finance Manager level
- Experience of working on large Transport contract
- Be involved with the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Attend weekly operational review meetings
- Support completion of weekly flash reporting
- Manage and support career development of direct reports (1/2 employees)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent IT skills, for example Microsoft Excel
- Able to prioritise own and teams workload
- Able to work to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Experience in developing and managing KPIs
- Experience of budgeting and forecasting
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
Job Offer
This role will pay a basic salary of up to £35,000, plus benefits.
