Client Details
Our global client operate at the forefront of technology, and are a company passionate about internal succession planning and rotations across commercial teams. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Controller to join them, being responsible for providing a comprehensive accounting and management reporting service for the company.
You will take full responsibility for the accounting and management reporting, providing strong and focused leadership within the financial and management accounting function, taking full ownership of the development of yourself and your team.
Description
- Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting.
- Leading the forecast and budget process.
- Produce timely, accurate and reconciled financial and management reports.
- Using the ERP and other systems, review non-payroll expenditure, stock, banking and pensions.
- Fixed Assets accounting.
- Capital management, reporting and actions.
- Tax and regulatory compliances including VAT and Corporation Tax.
- Manage all aspects of Commercial Insurance.
Profile
- Degree or similar level of education - Essential.
- Full accounting qualification - CIMA/ACCA/ACA - Essential.
- Previous exposure of financial management and experience working closely with senior managers - Essential.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English - Essential.
- Computer literate with Advanced Excel - Essential.
- ERP expertise (especially SAP) - Desirable.
- System implementation experience - Desirable.
- Experience of leading and developing people and teams through change.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Open minded, logical and analytical approach to tasks and be able to review, adapt and develop existing procedures and processes.
- Eligibility to work in the UK - Essential.
- Must hold a full and valid Driving Licence.
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake some European travel.
