Client Details
My client a multinational company that are market leaders in their field are looking to hire a FP & A Business Partner into their finance team.
Description
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To be a champion of business partnering taking the function to a high level of influence, challenge and support.
- Provide business partnering support to the country general managers.
- Ensure meaningful, accurate and timely reporting of performance against targets.
- Review monthly business performance, present trend and benchmarking analysis of key P&L, cash flow and balance sheet lines, and identify the key drivers in order to explain business performance.
- Preparation for and attendance at Regional, Operational and Management meetings.
- Producing the annual budget and quarterly forecast reporting which will underpin the delivery of the Company's Strategic Plan.
- Building strong relationship with operational staff to be in a position to influence the decision process in the business.
- Build strong relationships with Finance Shared Service, Group Finance, ensuring that Accounting have an informed view of the business to do the accounting with accuracy.
- Regular reporting and analysis of selling, general and administrative expenses with the view to challenge and identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
- Provide timely, accurate and meaningful management information on an ad hoc basis.
- Continually look to assess and improve existing systems and procedures.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Qualified with minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to identify and articulate risks and opportunities to support the management team in their decision process.
- Takes responsibility for managing and prioritising own work, with the resilience to work under pressure.
- A team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and cooperation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to articulate and document thoughts clearly and to present with confidence and credibility to a variety of audiences including senior management.
- Able to work effectively in groups and cross functionally to achieve objectives.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
