Client Details

My client a multinational company that are market leaders in their field are looking to hire a FP & A Business Partner into their finance team.

Description

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To be a champion of business partnering taking the function to a high level of influence, challenge and support.
  • Provide business partnering support to the country general managers.
  • Ensure meaningful, accurate and timely reporting of performance against targets.
  • Review monthly business performance, present trend and benchmarking analysis of key P&L, cash flow and balance sheet lines, and identify the key drivers in order to explain business performance.
  • Preparation for and attendance at Regional, Operational and Management meetings.
  • Producing the annual budget and quarterly forecast reporting which will underpin the delivery of the Company's Strategic Plan.
  • Building strong relationship with operational staff to be in a position to influence the decision process in the business.
  • Build strong relationships with Finance Shared Service, Group Finance, ensuring that Accounting have an informed view of the business to do the accounting with accuracy.
  • Regular reporting and analysis of selling, general and administrative expenses with the view to challenge and identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
  • Provide timely, accurate and meaningful management information on an ad hoc basis.
  • Continually look to assess and improve existing systems and procedures.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified with minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to identify and articulate risks and opportunities to support the management team in their decision process.
  • Takes responsibility for managing and prioritising own work, with the resilience to work under pressure.
  • A team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and cooperation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to articulate and document thoughts clearly and to present with confidence and credibility to a variety of audiences including senior management.
  • Able to work effectively in groups and cross functionally to achieve objectives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Job Offer

Salary: £45,000 + benefits
