Global Head of Tax

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational tax advice and support to the business in the regions and HQ at their request.
• In cooperation with the global finance team and outside counsel, manage the tax compliance process.
• In cooperation with the global finance team, review tax accruals and related tax accounting processes.
• Provide active support and assistance in tax audits in the relevant countries.
• In cooperation with business management, provide tax support with respect to acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganizations, integrations, mergers, restructuring and financing in the relevant region or countries.
• Provide tax support to the central accounting function and external auditors with respect to the global tax charges in the consolidated accounts of the group.
• International Tax due diligence.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience at a “Big 4” firm and/or corporate tax department.
• Good understanding of IFRS and associated accounting principles around taxation.
• Ability to be exacting, thorough and attentive to detail, while still meeting and delivering under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/French would be an advantage.
• Some international travel is required.
