Immediate vacancies exist for experienced Well Test Supervisors based in Canning Vale, Perth.
Applicants must demonstrate their extensive well test knowledge, offshore project experience and supervisory skills.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Successful applicants will be responsible for service delivery at the well site to customer expectations, team supervision and be responsible for safe, efficient and cost effective completion of all tasks relating to well test operations working both on and offshore as required.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

  • Supervise well test operations and allocate tasks to team ensuring compliance all applicable HSEQ policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness, take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others
  • Knowledge of DAQ-well testing equipment and all relevant third party equipment required on location
  • Attend client meetings to establish and maintain a good rapport. Conduct team briefings, tool box talks and attend planning meetings
  • Liaise with Operations Supervisor/Client and team members as required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication and guidance to achieve safe operations and task completion
  • Report any hazardous defects in plant, equipment and workplace or shortcomings in the existing controls to Operations Supervisor without delay
  • Operate and have sufficient working knowledge of well test equipment required for operations being performed and ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for their compliance and are technically correct for the operation being performed
  • Perform Risk Assessments for equipment or tasks in accordance with Company procedures
  • Assist in planning pre load out and preparation of jobs, ensure pack and load out of equipment in a correct and efficient manner
  • Ensure equipment is rigged up, pressure tested, function tested prior to operations commencing
  • Complete appropriate documentation relating to equipment and personnel in the course of the operations performed and communicate any concerns, suggestions, ideas and improvements
  • Collect accurate data and prepare high quality reports and end of job reports for clients
  • Supervise, mentor and coach team members through the Competency Management System
  • Required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, maintenance and return of equipment


Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Extensive well test knowledge, offshore experience and mechanical background
  • Understand the principals and theory of job programmes
  • Good organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • High attention to detail, good interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Self motivated and pro-active
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Good computer skills
