About the opportunity
Our Information Services - Strategy and Architecture have an opportunity available for an experienced Enterprise Architect with proven large scale enterprise experience to join our growing Melbourne team.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of information system/technology target states and roadmaps to realise Bupa's short-term objectives and long term strategies. This includes providing leadership in various domains such as marketing, sales, service, channel integration, product/pricing, health and care, information management, technology infrastructure, etc.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Developing enterprise-wide information system/ technology target states and roadmaps to inform investment planning and program/project delivery
Provide architecture consulting services such as technology market scanning, investment idea qualification, feasibility assessments and pre-sales / tenders activities
Coordinate and orchestrate architecture activities for the assigned business unit or tech domain
Provide leadership and personal development support to direct reports
Your background
To be successful for this role, you will have the following:
Minimum of 5 years working experience as an enterprise architect in a large and complex environment
Knowledge / certification on architecture frameworks / methods
Knowledge / certification on delivery methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile)
Demonstrable ability to work with and influence business and technology stakeholders (up to C-level executives)
Have successfully influenced strategic and/or program outcomes by brokering consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs and expectations
Track record in realising benefits by developing information system & technology strategies / roadmaps and executing to them
Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric thinking
Track record in driving value through strategic partnerships with technology vendors / partners
Strong understanding of technology trends and proven ability to maintain that knowledge
Desirable experience/skills:
Industry knowledge of health and care
Experience with Microsoft's suite of cloud technologies
