Our operation provides you with the opportunity to live locally and go home every day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO. We are only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast. Our roster is 8 days on, 6 days off - a great work/life balance. That's not all, this is a large mining and processing operation so you will be working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Residue Disposal Area (RDA) Supervisor you are responsible for the ongoing construction and maintenance of all Processing Water Infrastructure and RDA distribution and deposition lines in a safe manner whilst ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legal requirements and approvals.

You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgment to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Poly welding qualifications and experience
  • Knowledge of AS/NZS 2033:2008 and other relevant Australian Standards for the installation of HDPE piping
  • High level of communication skills - verbal and written
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulations relevant to safety and the environment for the mining industry
  • Current C class drivers licence
  • Current HR class drivers licence (desirable)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
