The Finance Business Partner reports to the Financial Controller, and is responsible for the day to day management of the Finance team, and the timely & accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts and related reporting to the FC, client, and wider Leadership Team.

Description
The successful Finance Business Partner will have the following duties;
Lead the Statutory accounts process and liaise with the Auditors during the external audit process
Work with key business managers, providing quality financial information to assist with operational decision making.
Process improvement of internal policies and promotion of best practice.
Responsibility for the preparation of key Finance reports (P&L /Balance Sheet) including the provision of supporting variance analysis to ensure monthly submission deadlines are met.
- Responsible for Full Balance Sheet Management, including substantiation of all reconciliation work carried out by the team.
- Preparation of Monthly Reporting pack.
- Preparation of Annual Budget and forecasting.
- Ensure all Group requests are addressed timely and accurately.
- Participation in ad-hoc projects.
- Occasional travel / participation in Divisional Meetings.
Profile
The successful Finance Business Partner will likely have the following attributes;
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
- Track record of career progression and experience in a similar role
- Industry experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed.
- Strong interpersonal and influential skills.
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
- Supervisory or people management experience preferable.
Job Offer
My client is willing to offer a starting salary of £38,000 - £42,000 for the successful Finance Business Partner. In addition, a generous benefits package will be included, in addition to the prospect of long term prospects to develop.
