Description

  • Complete payroll process on a fortnightly basis for all casual employees.
  • Complete payroll process on a monthly basis for all permanent employees.
  • Work closely with HR Function to obtain relevant information for payroll processing.
  • Action all HMRC requirements on a timely basis and liaise with them on any queries.
  • Complete manual calculations for payroll processing, including, SSP, SMP and starter and leaver apportionment.
  • Manage all payroll related queries relating to pension deductions and auto enrolment requirements.
  • Complete all year end procedures including P60's and P11D's.
  • Deal with individual and venue payroll queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage the processing and payment of Attachment of Earnings.
  • Manage the payment of holiday pay to casual employees.
  • Assist with the interim and final audit and liaise with auditors on all payroll queries.
  • Liaise with Finance on any reconciliation queries or payroll journal queries.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and systems, with the objective of improving controls and efficiencies.
  • Any other duties assigned as directed by Finance Director, location Managers and the HR Director

Profile

  • Experience of acting in a Payroll role with requirements of the full 'end to end' process.
  • Have the gravitas to act as the face of Payroll as a 'stand -alone' Payroll representative.
  • Intermediate Excel skills including formulas.
  • Highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Have excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Be resilient and able to work well under pressure and work reactively and proactively
  • Have excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • You must be immediately available and be able to commit for at least 2 months
