In this role

You will receive trainings on all business aspects and have the opportunity to work alongside motivated colleagues who build strong relationships with the Accolade Wines' business across the globe.

Key accountabilities include

  • Prepare bulk wine and finished goods costing for approval in a timely and accurate manner, ensure the assumptions applied in the costing are logic, appropriate and well documented.
  • Assist with monthly variances analysis for inventory and cost of goods sold across various commercial segments.
  • Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conduct bill of materials audit and take correction measurements to ensure costing integrity is maintained at all time.
  • Prepare monthly inventory report for Treasury and Insurances.
  • Work with selected business unit managers and accountholders to complete strategic, annual plan and forecasting inputs.
  • Participate in standard cost build and analysis for given entities and cost components.
  • Assist with preparation of presentation and commentaries for key cost of goods sold movements in the budget and forecast.
  • Update and maintain product costs in JD Edwards and bulk wine system.

Essential knowledge and skills are

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • good understanding of manufacturing costing principles and relevant accounting standards.
  • high level problem solving, task planning and prioritising capability.
  • professional, proactive and self-motivated mindset.
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • be able to timely communicate output of analysis to stakeholders in a clear and presentable format.
  • intermediate level MS Excel skills with exposure to modern ERP financial systems such as JDE (highly desired).
Essential experience is

Preferably 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or similar industry roles.

Essential qualifications are

University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.

Physical and other requirements

Potential travel to operations sites within Australia.
