The Consumer Business has assets of approximately AU$13Bn under management. Products currently offered include credit cards, unsecured revolving loans, charge cards and mortgages.

As part our Consumer Risk Management team, the Credit &Portfolio role provides MIS and analytics support for Unsecured Risk Management. This role is critical for strategy and policy development in order to manage credit loss and optimize revenue.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
  • Carrying out risk-and-reward analytics projects to improve business performance (i.e. segmentation analysis, loss forecasting, propensity scoring)
  • Tracking the performance of credit changes and credit tests
  • Proactively identifying problem areas and opportunities within portfolios
  • Presenting results of analysis to internal customers including senior and Regional management where applicable
  • Providing data and analytics support for portfolio monitoring, risk governance, stress testing and audit activities #LI-W

Qualifications

To be successful in this position you must have the following skills and experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with a Quantitative discipline is necessary
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Programming - SAS or other similar languages
  • Statistical and Data mining skills
  • Exposure to modelling techniques will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of unsecured lending business and risk management will be an added advantage
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
