About Metro
We operate and maintain Melbourne's Metropolitan train network. Successfully transporting over 400,000 passengers per day is achieved by our large dedicated workforce. With multiple large projects being completed, we continually work hand-in-hand with all external businesses involved to ensure that new assets comply with the standards we set.
The Network Integration and Transformation division is responsible for planning a safe, reliable and passenger focused service while ensuring operational readiness for the new systems, processes, plant and equipment being introduced by the State Governments ambitious investment programs.
The Position
Overseeing the governance and compliance of the Asset Management System, The Asset Management System (AMS) - Compliance & Business Analyst will be a key role to support our ISO 55001 Certification.
We are also on our Asset Management Excellence journey; according to an international model. The role will also monitor our progress according to this model, and provide business analysis to support the achievement of our improvement targets.
Reporting to the AMS Manager and liaising with numerous areas of Metros business units, you will conduct planned audits of the AMS and be the point of contact for any external audits carried out. With a strong focus on continual improvement, you will maintain all AMS processes and documentation, ensuring communication, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and reporting.
Qualifications and experience relating to AMS assessment are highly desirable e.g. CAMA
Requirements
ISO 55001 implementation and auditing experience is required for the position. Previous experience in infrastructure Asset Management, as well as practical knowledge of the GFMAM Asset Management Excellence model is essential. Experience in the Rail Industry would be advantageous but isn't a requirement.
The success of this role will be due to your leadership and engagement of multi-disciplinary stakeholders across the business to embrace the Standard and AMEM to fulfil compliance obligations and add business value.
