My client is looking for an immediately available, fluent french speaking purchase ledger clerk. This role is initially a 24 week contract with the possibility of extension.

The client is an instantly recognisable international travel organisation based in Surbiton.
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices for non Sapphire related invoices received from resort offices onto Dynamics AP ledgers, check coding
- Upload invoices from Sapphire into Dynamics to enable payment of reconciled invoices
- Prepare payment runs on a weekly basis for due invoices
- Work closely with overseas resort offices and internal departments to resolve payment queries arising during processing
- Manage supplier queries regarding the payments on their account
- Support the staff accommodation payments and ensure contracts are correctly authorised and payment with suppliers according to contractual terms
- Support the processing of guarantee and part guarantee accommodation payments and ensure payments are made accurately, on time and in accordance with contracts in MCS
- Respond to supplier queries regarding non payment or reasons for deductions
- Reconcile and recover prepayments and deposits and other contractual contributions from the suppliers payments
- Support the resort finance teams in end of season reconciliations
- Identify improvements on invoice processing by working with our suppliers to improve the quality of invoice and information provided to us
- Improve and maintain excellent supplier relationships through effective and timely communication in the event of queries or disputes on invoices
- Filing of invoice and payment back up and documentation
Profile
- Accounts payable experience, overseas knowledge and experience is beneficial
- Attention to detail and efficient processing skills
- Self motivated and reliable
- Able to work as part of a small team with flexibility to support other colleagues as required
- Good communication skills are essential
- Able to use MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel (Essential)
Speak and write fluently in French (other language capabilities including Italian, Austrian, German are also useful)
