Our client is a multi-site industrial group operating across 2 entities with over £100m turnover. The FC role has reporting responsibility for several international markets. The role is wide-ranging, and will include the following tasks:

• Reporting - to produce and be responsible for the division’s monthly management accounts (including commentary; standardising reporting systems and processes);
• Budgeting and Forecasting - including all sales / margin by prodcy and by customer; preparation of non financial disclosures as well as commentary for the budget presentation packs;
• Commercial Support - providing business partner support to the European Marketing Manager to enable profitable growth;
• Ad hoc Projects;

The Candidate

You will be qualified with a strong control and process background. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work to deadlines, and a desire to continually improve / challenge existing processes and procedures. You will be able to demonstrate that you are proactive and committed to driving change. There is potential progression within this role to the position of Group Financial Controller. The role will suit either CIMA trained candidates, as well as ACCA / ACA candidates either already in industry or seeking their first move into industry.
