With global energy demand growing, Origin is looking for new ways to meet that need and create tomorrow's energy solutions. It's an exciting time to be a part of Origin.

The Role

APLNG is the largest producer of coal seam gas (CSG) in Australia, supplying Queensland's domestic gas market, as well as processing CSG into liquefied natural gas (LNG). This is a great opportunity to get involved in one of the most important projects for Origin.

  • Preparation and review of monthly results through Oracle journals, review of balance sheet reconciliations and forecasting/budgeting variances on an ad hoc basis, while ensuring compliance within the internal control framework
  • Delivery of finance services to APLNG, incorporating all dimensions, including: financial accounting, management accounting and tax compliance- this will require coordinating, managing the delivery from Operators and Service Providers to APLNG and directly performing these activities for the APLNG Corporate segment of the business
  • Compliance with external reporting obligations
  • Providing insight into the business performance to add value to APLNG and its shareholders
  • Coaching and mentoring members of the team and influencing stakeholders in other teams

This is your chance to assist in the delivery of the APLNG Consolidated Group position in APLNG management and its shareholders, requiring the effective coordination of information from operators and other service providers to APLNG.
