TAX SENIOR EisnerAmper Ireland is seeking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic, part qualified or qualified AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Chartered Accoutant (ACA), to join its Tax team for an immediate start. What you will be doing: As a member of our Tax Department your initial focus will be on the management and provision of tax compliance and advisory services to our international clients and clients in the financial services industry, as well as assisting senior members of the department with the delivery of other services including tax advisory services. Key aspects of the role involve: Responsibility for large portfolio of corporate tax clients and potentially some VAT clients (depending on experience); Liaising closely and regularly with tax clients; Researching and resolving technical issues arising throughout the compliance process; Responsibility for managing junior members of the tax department in completion of corporation tax and VAT computations and returns, reviewing work and assisting with training and monitoring of trainees; Assisting in planning and supervision of corporate tax and VAT compliance process within Tax departments; Assisting colleagues within the Tax Department with administrative matters such as client acceptance and engagement etc.; Liaising with managers, directors and Partners as well as other professionals within the Firm; Assisting colleagues within the firm with tax queries relating to mutual clients; and Other ad hoc tax related duties. What we are looking for: Qualifications A qualified or part qualified AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Chartered Accountant (ACA). Experience A minimum of two years' experience in a professional environment preferably working in a tax department; Achieved excellence in their academic discipline, minimum of 2.1 in a business, mathematical or analytical discipline; Experience in providing corporate tax compliance and advisory services to Irish corporate entities; and Preferably with experience in the financial services and / or international business sectors. Key competencies: Technical - a thorough understanding of the Irish corporate tax system and VAT system (not a necessity) and issues affecting Irish companies. Initiative - ability to take the initiative, work with limited supervision (although, we will be there to support you). Dynamism - desire to work in a fast paced environment with a highly energetic and motivated team. Flexibility - willingness to adapt to varying and changing client demands. Attitude - motivated, hardworking and evidence of having excelled at something in your personal life to date.
