Job Description The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day running of various teams under the Ireland, US and UK Financial Reporting Line of Business. He/she must ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively in meeting the SLA targets. He/she must monitor quality and productivity maintaining both to the highest standard and regularly communicate performance metrics with the LOB onshore team and internal management. Daily management of the available resource (in line with company expectations) is required, ensuring that all shifts are sufficiently resourced. They will need to understand the technicalities of the role and should be able to guide the Supervisors and the Teams accordingly. They will need to interact with the Onshore on an ongoing basis and would be playing a part in the Relationship Management with them. Job Purpose: The jobholder is responsible for ensuring the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements for client s collective investment vehicles including the calculation of distribution rates and taxation amounts where applicable. The role involves review activities encompassing the supervision of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Fund Accountants and some staff management aspects and requires management of multiple Teams with similar functions for different Locations across all Shifts. It would, also require managing migrations and running projects. Financial Services, Fund Industry knowledge, sound double entry and financial accounting knowledge including UK GAAP or equivalent standards exposure Strong written and oral English communication skills Proven People, Process & Customer Management skills Advanced system and PC skills (Strong MS-Office skills) Ability to create positive work climate and team development Experience of financial reporting for OEIC / Unit Trust or equivalent vehicles preferable Qualifications Business related qualification. Professional accounting qualification (CA/ ICWA/ CS/ CPA/ CIMA etc) is preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a Managerial position and 2 years experience in a similar role - Manager Profile, preferably in similar industry: Mutual Funds, Financial Services. Overall work experience of minimum 7- 8 years.
