Company Secretary Dublin South An established accountancy firm based in south Dublin are seeking a Company Secretary to take a lead role in the accountancy firms company secretarial department. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in progressing in a career as a Company Secretary as this firm is offering the opportunity to begin at management level or progress to management level in time. You will move to a firm that is offering high level of autonomy with regards how the department is structured and run. This role reports to Director level. The Role Management and development of a varied portfolio of clients across industry sectors. Client relationship management ensuring at all times the delivery of a premium service to clients, such as - Advising companies when their AGMs are due and preparing all relevant documentation. Assist with hosting of general meetings for clients. Advising when annual returns are due and ensuring filings are made on time. Assist with incorporation of companies. Preparing and filing all statutory forms as and when required. Monitor and manage the financial performance of the department and any staff support. Manage the efficiency of the office to ensure workflows are streamlined and effective. Providing advice and guidance to clients on corporate governance or company secretarial matters. Maintain and update statutory records and client database. Liaise with Companies Registration Offices and various other parties. Acting as company secretary for a number of high profile clients. Participation in a variety of project work, for example, marketing development of the department through - Website development in conjunction with Director. E-marketing mailshots to ensure maximum service offering exposure to clients. The Candidate Self-starter, with previous experience in accountancy practice or legal practice. ICSA qualification is a preference, or a desire to undertake and complete the qualification. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills required. The Rewards Salary (€) - negotiable depending on experience.
