Job Description
Job Summary:
State Street's Active Managed Funds Sales team are seeking a new team member with 2 years financial services experience, preferably with experience in client service or distribution support. The newly created Sales Coordinator will support the fast-growing Managed Fund Sales team in a broad range of business development activities to help reach the team's key milestones. A positive, "can do" attitude will be critical. To succeed in this role, we are seeking a candidate that has a keen interest in financial markets and the ability to manage various stakeholders.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for proactive individual that wants to start their career in Sales Team.
The role involves supporting a combination of administrative and business development support functions, including supporting our Sales Managers, maintaining the CRM, competitor and client intelligence and coordinating sales and marketing campaigns.
Roles And Responsibilities:
Supporting BDM/Sales Managers in all Sales activities which includes (but not limited to): booking sales meetings, meeting preparation and follow up, portfolio and competitor analysis, CRM maintenance, and administrative support
Supporting the Head of Sales with management reporting
General teamadministration
Building and maintaining successful relationships with a broad range of clients, including Financial Planners, Platforms, Researchers and Retail Investors
Managing direct (Retail) and platform customer queries by email and phone
Assisting with marketing campaigns via Salesforce and Client Facing engagement
Actively contributing to a positive team culture
Qualifications:
Preferably a Degree in Business, Finance or relevant field
1-2 Years Financial Services Experience Preferred
RG146
Morningstar Direct experience preferred but not required
Results oriented
Excellent relationship skills
Organisational effectiveness - ability to ascertain client requirements and deliver a solution persuasively
Able to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines under pressure
Strong communication skills with the ability to question the “status quo”
Good business acumen
Ability to negotiate
Good decision making skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
