Description
As a Payroll Officer based from the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:
To work as part of team to ensure all payrolls are run by requisite deadlines
- Collate information and process payrolls, using "Star" software
- Issue pay by BACS transfers, and Autopay
- Set up new starters and process leavers
- Submit information to HMRC in accordance with deadlines
- Upload auto enrolment information to pension providers
- Create and upload payroll journals
- Resolve queries and questions
- Liaise with HMRC, submit payments and resolve PAYE and NI queries
- Prepare new client quotations for payroll and pension
Profile
- Payroll experience is required
- Highly Organised
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to deal with questions/queries
- Able to work to deadlines
- Experience using the Star Payroll system is desirable but not essential
