Technology Risk Manager | Banking | $130k

Highly regarded Bank are seeking a strategically minded Technology Risk professional to join their first line risk team. This is a key strategic role with oversight across the institutional and business banking divisions. You will be charged with maintaining and improving an industry leading risk framework and methodology in a company that is leading the way with how technology risk is managed.
Role:
Work up to CIO level to provide advice and insights into how to effectively manage risks across the banks technology platforms
Represent the team at risk forums
Take the lead on raising risk culture across the organisation
Evaluate risk behaviours of the business units and how they are performing against the frameworks - educate stakeholders where needed
Build credibility and a strong risk culture across the group on behalf of the risk team
You:
Strong working knowledge of managing technology risk within FS or professional services
Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliverables
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to provide a collaborative risk service to the business
Ability to prioritise and manage your own time frames and deliver results
This is a brand new role unique to the risk team and comes with a great deal of opportunity to learn on the job and be trained in broader bank wide risk management. It would suit someone with an IT Risk background wanting to move into a broader strategic risk role.
