Finance manager
• Accounting: Ensure the accounting records are accurate, reliable and comply with PRC & IAS accounting principles.
• Account Payable: Review supplier reconciliations and ensure potential liabilities are promptly identified and recorded in the accounts. Ensure all payment applications and expense reports have adequate supporting documentation. Ensure procurement dept acquire adequate credit terms from suppliers.
• Account Receivable & Credit Control: Review credit limit application, assess risk and make recommendation for credit limit. Follow up on sales collections and overdue with sales and institute legal action to recover overdue debts, if necessary. Ensure month end sales cut off and sales recognition conforms to Combined Code and company's policy. Assist in executing financial task to improve working capital through reduction and better control on accounts receivable.
• Tax: Ensure compliance with local tax requirements (VAT, income tax, withholding tax and house property tax etc.), minimize company's tax liability.
• Inter-company: Review inter-company reconciliation on monthly basis and ensure follow up action on reconciling items.
• Reporting: Review all corporate reporting requirements & forecasts (financial, treasury, tax reporting and internal controls), monthly, quarterly and annually, ensure information submitted is accurate, reliable and on time.
• Budget & Forecasts: Responsible for annual budgetary process, play a major role in financial planning process, coordinating with department managers for budget development and execution.
• Treasury: Manage cash & loans and foreign currency hedging.
• Auditors and Legal: Liaise with external & internal auditors and lawyer for legal matters.
• Insurance: Coordinate with insurance broker and insurance company, deal with insurance application.
• Internal controls: Identify and implement good internal control in finance dept as well as within the company.
• Team Development: Take primary role in staff development and performance management. To train and motivate staff to improve accounting and internal control skill sets.
• Responsible for company HSE police、HSE manage system and the emergency plan implement in the department.
