Financial Controller / Plant Controller Exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller / Plant Controller to join a company based in Drogheda, Co. Louth on a fixed term contract. You will be responsible for 3 sites around Ireland. Our client is a leading production/manufacturing multinational organisation.  You will be responsible for leading the financial function to achieve the overall corporate financial functions. Salary is €75-80k Responsibilities: Analysis: Partner with the Plant Management Team to assure achievement of the overall plant objectives, including analyzing data to initiate improvements and cost savings. Cost Accounting, Inventory and Assets: Manage systems for current, accurate and complete accounting and reporting of job costs, overhead, inventory, controls and policies, and physical counts. Forecasting: Manage the forecasting process including analyzing trends and patterns, determine the impact and making recommendations for the Plant. Financial: Manage Plant internal financial reporting and assure compliance with internal controls and policies Assist in the creation and achievement of the approved budget of the Plant. Business Strategy: As a member of the Plant Management Team, assist the Plant Manager in the achievement of overall strategy. Receivable Collection: Ensure that customer receivable are collected according to set targets. Assign collection activity as required, monitor follow-ups, quantify reasons for slow payment, resolve issues as they arise, and prepare timely reports as required. To be considered, you will have: 10 years' experience ideally with US multinational experience desirable (but not essential) Previous experience with acquisitions and change management an advantage Previous experience in the printing and labelling industry Experience in SAP or other ERP system Be an ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant. Previous experience with cost control and profit margin analysis Requirements: Previous experience working as an FC in a manufacturing environment Must be able to analyze operational data and provide guidance to the management  team.
