Senior Manager, Technical Accounting - Transactions Focus

Salary: $150,000k - $160,000k + Super + Bonus

Location: Sydney CBD

This is a great opportunity for a technical accountant with a strong background in accounting policy and advice to join a leading investment bank based in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

• Provision of detailed technical accounting on numerous business transactions;
• Provision of detailed technical advice on transactions
• Key point of contact for the front office business development teams to provide proactive accounting advice;
• Continual development of your technical accounting knowledge across multiple industries and standards;
• Delivery of financial information and analysis as it pertains to specific transactions;
• Ad hoc reporting and project related engagements.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent;
• Strong technical accounting background;
• Proven ability working in an advisory capacity in a transaction focused team;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team;
