Field Inventory Officer REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager JOB SUMMARY The Field Inventory Officer coordinates inventory requirements and procurement details with Warehouse and Stores. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Tracks the transportation and distribution of inventory between Warehouse and Stores • Oversees the records of all stocks and compiles evaluation reports. • Daily auditing of inventory • Accounting and reporting of inventory surplus, product returns, and damages on a daily basis • Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures • Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution • Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records • Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory • Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis • Notify store management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability • Assist in any other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • 5 CXC Passes including Math and English (Grades 1 or 11) • Knowledge of relevant Inventory processes • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Word processing programmes • Three (3) years' experience inventory and stock management will be an asset • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Must own vehicle Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
