Summary:

Reporting to Finance Manager, the Accountant will be leading a small team and will be responsible for accounts payable function for Fortress as well as month end closing and financial reporting. He/She will be participating in the system implementation and process enhancement.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support daily operations for accounts payable for OPEX such as rental for Fortress stores in Hong Kong.
  • Prepare month end closing and reports for analysis.
  • Prepare journals and account reconciliations.
  • Reconciliation on Accounts Payable vouchers.
  • Handle supplier enquiries.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Support ad hoc projects as required such as system implementation and workflow enhancement.

 Requirements:  

  • Degree in Accountancy or related discipline
  • Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years relevant experience, preferably from sizable corporations
  • Mature, attentive to details with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS office with knowledge in accounting software/ERP system
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
