As a Senior Assurance Manager - Broker, you are responsible for embedding and supporting the operational and compliance risk, framework, associated reporting and stakeholder engagement within the Retail Distribution space. The purpose of the role is to enable high performance, acting as a safety net that support alignment of risk policy and business goals, reflection of risk appetite, key controls over processes, evidence based assessments, controls/ cost benefit assessments, building the risk culture and provide excellent assurance service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must bring the following:
- Tertiary qualified and with extensive experience in Risk Management and Compliance Framework application with strong technical and industry networks (internal and external)
- Proven ability in complex stakeholder management, relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills with senior executives in a large financial institution
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills with ability to work in and direct a small team.
- Drives performance and demonstrate ability to guide, mentor and coach a small team.
- Demonstrated track record of working to deadlines.
- Highly experienced in managing conflicting priorities, being efficient and organised
