Rent and Service Charge Project Manager

A client of Morgan Hunt is looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Project Manager to work within their supported housing service based in the Birmingham or Nottingham office.

The role
The purpose of the role is to review and rewrite the service charge structure by implementing income management standards across the housing service which achieves upper quartile rates of collection. The role will also be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive financial inclusion strategy to maximise service user's income and capacity to move on and contribute to high performing move on outcomes. The client is looking to get someone started as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
* Understand and Extract costs from various sectors of the organisation.
* Understand Leasehold regulations.
* Responsible for Rent setting & Rent Management Income Management and Financial Inclusion.
* Arrange for maintenance of the properties to be completed.

Candidate
The successful candidate for the role of Rent & Service Charge Project Manager will:

* Have experience working as with Service Charges, Rent, Income Tax and/or Debt Management within the Housing sector including:
- Income management or financial inclusion
- Proven record of Financial Improvement.
- Project Management experience.
* Have a referenceable recent work history
* Be available to start immediately

This role gives the opportunity to gain employment that may turn into a more permanent role. It is perfect for someone with managerial experience who has previously completed Rent & Income management duties.
