The Finance Business Partner role will have responsibility for providing operational business partnering to a business unit. Partnering with the Plant Director and their senior leadership team, you will help to challenge and deliver the objectives for the department, whilst ensuring the financial robustness of their results and reporting.

Description
As Finance Business Partner you will:
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with provision of timely information on key issues affecting the plan to assist decision making
- Ensure the team understand and consider the financial implications of key actions and decisions through providing clear insight. Constructively challenge the decisions being made to ensure value is being maximised
- Ensure financial forecasts are aligned with the current view within the department and actively kept up to date with clear variance analysis provided to the business to understand changes
- Identify opportunities and risks in relation to the department's financial objectives, and work on ways to maximise and mitigate these respectively
- Drive improvements in the systems and processes used to report and analyse financial performance within the department
Profile
The successful Finance Business Partner will:
- Hold a recognised accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven track record of business partnering with non-financial stakeholders - with the ability and confidence to influence and provide challenge to the business, driving change where required
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Strong analytical skills, able to model and assess a range of scenarios and outcomes
- Attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial control
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
- Hard working, driven and keen to progress
- A team player
